It’s all about Community! That’s #WhoWeAre
For those of us at the Presidential Service Badge Foundation, we are laser-focused on our community. That includes unique events where we can get our message out to the public about the importance of what we do in raising the value of supporting democracy. We stand ready to provide assistance to those people and organizations that desire to showcase the lessons of America’s past in order to drive all of us to a successful future. Follow along here to stay up to date with all of our community events!
Kickoff Luncheon!
The Foundation's inaugural event took place on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, at the exclusive Army and Navy Club in Washington DC, a mere two blocks away from the White House. At the luncheon, Anthony Knopps, the author of "The No-Fail Mission," discussed his latest book that highlights the lives of ten individuals awarded the Presidential Service Badge for their dedication to the Office of the President. Accompanied by two of the individuals featured in the book and surrounded by a gathering of PSB honorees, the narratives of their unwavering service were recounted.
Recognition on the Hill
Part of #WhoWeAre is the relationship that we have with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. As a 501(c)(3) charity, we work to raise awareness about those men and women who have earned the Presidential Service Badge as we share about the Foundation and its goals.
We are pleased to count Rep. Richard Neal as one of our supporters. Proudly serving the 1st District of Massachusetts, the dean of the New England Delegation recently recognized the Foundation with a special citation showcasing our efforts to raise awareness about the importance of public service.
Play Ball!
Appearing before a crowd of more than 31,000 people, Foundation Chair Dr. Miguel Rodriguez and PSB recipient Erica Cooper were recognized in a pre-game ceremony at Boston’s Fenway Park (August 11, 2024).
Thanks to Major League Baseball, the Boston Red Sox and the Houston Astros, the Foundation was able to share our message of service to a receptive audience.
Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
On September 28th, The US Presidential Service Badge Foundation was recognized in a pre-game ceremony at Nationals Park in Washington DC. As with the Red Sox, this was a way to get our message of selfless sacrifice for our country out to a different audience. Just another example of #WhoWeAre
